Zach and Lola met in 2022, thanks to the magic (and occasional misery) of Tinder—where sometimes you swipe right for love and sometimes for regret.

That first evening was better than either of them expected. They talked for hours—so long, in fact, that the restaurant staff started sweeping floors and shutting the place down around them. Fun fact: that local joint was one they had both worked at, just at different times.

Busy with their own lives, they set a second date for a week later—a hike. (Zach, by the way, pretended to enjoy the outdoors for the first few months of their relationship... spoiler: he does not.) But midway through the week, Zach couldn't wait and asked Lola to dinner on Friday. Obviously, she said yes.

The rest, as they say, is history. Zach and Lola started spending more time together, taking things at a pace that felt just right. As they uncovered more layers of each other, their bond deepened effortlessly. With shared values of care, and authenticity, their relationship blossomed into a warm, supportive haven.

In December 2022, they adopted a cat, Henry, to keep Pax company, and by July 2023, they were settling into their sweet little apartment together. One of the things Lola cherishes about Zach is his wonderful blend of playfulness and thoughtfulness. He has this incredible knack for being silly and fun, while his deep care for those around him is always evident—a reassuring presence that makes their relationship feel like a safe and nurturing space where they can each be the fullest versions of themselves.
